GOD for a good History paper!
it's pretty awful to have exams on your birthday but at least you get to go home early :)
Today was super weird going home! I was super bummed out about mt Chinese answers being so short because I CAN'T FAIL CHINESE AGAIN! And my Chinese GPA always pulls down my grade by a lot :( And math was quite okay only 6a was 3 marks but it was so tough I think it was just a mental block but I tried and tried and couldn't figure it out and the moment the teacher said pens down everything clicked. Talk about bad timing.
And then I met the going-home gang at the foyer and I started trying to draw on Shanxi to get rid of my need to jab someone to vent my frustration but it didn't work. Then when we got to the bus stop it was super hot and 190 wasn't coming but then later when it did it was so packed so Shan + Dawn + Ting Fang got left behind. And then we got off at Dhoby Ghaut and went to Mos Burger where there weren't any seats, so we walked one whole round and went to the basement to walk one whole round again before deciding to go back to Mos Burger and wait for a seat. But there were so many people we only managed to get a 4-seater so the eight of us had to squish but it was fun :) And we tried to teach Ting Fang how to get rid of her inferiority complex by replying "NO!" (see Shanxi and Maria for a demonstration) instead of "(*sigh*) yes..." when someone asked if she was a loser. But then the worst part was when they tried to test in on me and I was drinking my soup and they were like, "Rachel are you a loser?" and I choked on my soup and so my spoon flipped and sent soup splattering everywhere. Sheesh.
And after lots more talk and motiva-ting (hahaha!) we left for the mrt while the 2 weirdos again were tring to figure out how to untwist your arms/ touch the correct sides of your nose, and the train took SUPER LONG because of some weird glitch on the east-west line and so after saying bye to Amanda we had to wait for almost 20 min before the train came, and so by then the station was cramped with tons of people and everyone was shoving for the door when when the train finally came and it closed. On me. OUT OF EVERYONE ELSE THOSE DOORS COULD PICK FROM! ON ME! But thank God good thing for me Nadia and Sarah were behind but they were super freaked out and yanked me away from the double clutches of the mrt doors :) my knights in shining armour! So then we reunited at City Hall but although the whole episode was supremely fun I just wish the doors had squished my right side instead of my left because it's actually my right ear that sticks out.
And then at City Hall we missed another train because it was so super crowded and we all went a bit crazy with Shanxi and Maria trying to jump on/ duck each other's backs but everyone made me get on the following one first before I got chomped by the mrt doors again. But only me and shanxi and maria made it, so we decided to alight at kallang and give the others on the next train a blast when they thought we had deserted them >:) but they were taking super long and we were listening to music when they started calling so we refused to tell them where we were but Shanxi finally said orange seats and that we would walk over to find them. And... haha! We appeared magically from the doors at Kallang which was super fun :)
And then I won the battle over Shanxi about whose mom would pick us up! Finally! I had possession of her phone from when we were at the bus stop but she used Maria's phone (which she had been playing 3D Rally on as usual) instead. But anyway it was pointless because her mom wasn't home >:) So today I have conquered :D And I shall go and study for Science now, no matter how everyone says you can't but I'll just go through all the questions on Moodle. Thank God that none of the papers so far have been very awful :) hooray for pre-exam prayer buddies too!
1 more exam till freedom!!!
